Steve EnnenSteve Ennen joined Social Strategy1 from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he was Founding Managing Director of the Wharton Interactive Media Initiative (WIMI) and Wharton Lab for Innovation in Publishing; recognized as the authoritative thought leaders for issues related to interactive and digital media and their impact on broader business matters.

He lectured in Marketing at the Wharton School and was responsible for the development of curriculum in emerging media and interactive media strategies for both MBA program and Executive Education courses. A former Editorial Director who launched numerous award-winning digital media products,  Steve is adept at discussing the transformation of the total media ecosystem and the critical use of social intelligence in business.

Dennis StoutenburghCo-founder of Social Strategy1, Dennis Stoutenburgh is a business thought-leader with unwavering focus on the overall profit and loss, operations, and customer satisfaction of businesses.

With 20 years of management experience in the communications, financial and technology arenas, Dennis has been at the forefront in the evolution of the consumer movement from traditional customer service to real-time online support. During his time with ILD Corp., Dennis implemented the payment industry’s first online self help customer service application.

An early proponent of listening to the voice of the customer, Dennis has developed the tools, as well as identified a need for B2B social intelligence and online participation by businesses in this evolving world of social media. Together with Mike, Dennis built the foundation for the development of Social Strategy1.

Dennis’ contributions to Social Media Leadership can be found throughout the book and specifically in Chapters 1 and 6.

Edward H. BrownVice-Chair for the firm’s Business section and a partner in the firm’s Corporate law practice group, Ed shared his insight in Chapter 10 of Social Media Leadership, where he and Mike discuss the legal aspects of social media specifically in the areas of compliance, governance, and financial reporting across industries.

Ed has spoken before a variety of business and accounting groups, has written on business and tax law issues, and has appeared as a guest analyst on CNBC. Ed serves on the Board of Directors and as President of the Atlanta Junior Golf Foundation.

Ed recently co-hosted a webinar with Steve Ennen of SocialStrategy1 entitled Corporate Policies in Social Media, where they discussed how companies can create proper social media policies and how to approach social media with the compliance of corporate policies.

Before, Akamai, Robert co-founded and managed the Internet and E-Commerce practice of Alston & Bird, one of the nation’s top corporate and technology law firms.

Ilona OlayanIlona is a social media enthusiast and founding member of  internet start-ups Social Strategy1 and OfficeArrow.com. She is responsible for Social Strategy1’s marketing strategy, business development, and sales support.

Just as the Internet was becoming available to the masses in the U.S., Ilona’s career in communications and technology was beginning. She became adept at leading communications through technology, notably as a founding member of OfficeArrow.com, an online business providing office professionals tools to succeed; as a consultant at Telwares Communications enabling clients to reduce communications costs, and as a founding member of Global Crossing’s bandwidth trading channel, prior to which she supported IXnet’s pricing and product management for the financial markets.

With a multi-cultural background, Ilona is uniquely attuned to the internet as a globe-shrinking, people-connecting technology, where news can travel fast.

Her gift for connecting people in pursuit of a good cause has earned her a spot on the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2010 “40 Under 40″ list, as well as membership in Leadership Jacksonville, among other honors.

Michael has dedicated himself to learning the complexities of social media. His passion for new media and evolving technology keeps Michael engaged with many thought leaders and other digital influencers daily. He has embraced growing up in the digital era after adapting to social media during his youth.

His passion can be felt in his writing and also by witnessing Michael cheer on his favorite sports teams. Working with his father, author Michael F. Lewis is something Michael really cherishes, besides his English Cocker, Abby. He enjoys the outdoors and can be seen fishing or golfing most weekends.
